Dining in Ennis, Montana
(aka, Tony’s Culinary Review)
Welcome to the hidden gem of Ennis, well besides the Lure Me Inn! Dining in Ennis continues to grow into a destination for delicious eating.
It's hard to believe how many great places we have to eat. And trust me... I've tested them all!
Most restaurants have daily specials and some incredible deals, so be sure to come see Tony so you don’t miss out.
You will find daily $5 lunch specials, two for one amazing pizza nights and ribs that will bring you (okay, me) back every Saturday night!
A great way to start out your evening is at Willies' Distillery. Grab a cocktail or flight of their tasty tasting pours. As a Lure Me Inn guest, you will receive a 15% discount on most purchases. Don't forget to pick up your LMI/Willie’s discount card from the Office!
You'll find the restaurant listing in your cabin. And I'm happy to give you my favorite meal suggestions and even make reservations for you. One less thing to worry about while you're spending the day on the river, right?! If you would rather have takeout ready, just let me know!
The Alley Bistro
Tuesday night, two pizzas for $22! Yum. But that’s not all. They have a full menu and offer some amazing daily specials for lunch and dinner. And if you like cheesecake, HELLO!
Blue Moon Saloon & Cafe
It is worth the 15-minute scenic drive from the Inn. Saturday Night spells R-I-B-S! and their other weekly specials are just that, special. The rest of the menu is worth the trip as well. But call ahead to reserve not only a table, but your special of choice.
Burgers, shakes and ice cream, even huckleberry, in a relaxed setting.
The menu has a variety of delicious entrees and as the name suggests, continental focus with a western flare.
Coffee, breakfast, lunch and salads. They will even deliver to your cabin at the Inn. You just need to call ahead.
Ennis Sugar High
They keep it simple: ice cream, shakes, burgers and other comfort food. Come “Inn” for the delicious burger and grab an ice cream for your stroll along Main Street.
Good beers, good food and relaxed environment. Next to the Burnt Tree Brewery.
Great breakfast and lunch items. The “gravelly” is like the range, never ending.
Long Branch Saloon
A great local bar in the middle of Ennis. Great burgers and steaks. Pool table and if lucky, karaoke.
It’s about 15-20 minutes outside of town, but well worth the drive. Great steakhouse, great staff and great environment. You won’t be disappointed. Try the Walleye or the Bison short ribs.
They have Mexican on a daily basis. Others might try, but Mama’s got it!
On The Fly Espresso
No need to call, just drive the ½ mile to some great coffee and yummy breakfast burritos (my go to quick breakfast)!
Silver Dollar Saloon
A great watering hole and very welcoming. Sports always on the tv’s and the locals make you feel like…well a local. Great food via Tavern 287. While watching a game, have some wild game chili…YUM!
The history of this place is worth the visit…and while there, try the Pork Schnitzel. A full menu for lunch and dinner and if you’re feeling lucky, check out the casino and bar.
The Bison meatloaf and mashed potatoes is just what the Doctor ordered. Plus, the duck, the chicken potpie and if they have elk, order it! YUM!
Yesterday's Soda Fountain
If you want some yummy biscuits and gravy, skillet breakfasts, friendly hostess and learn about the local happenings, this is the place to spend your mornings. Located right in Ennis Pharmacy.
Dine In for the Night!
Many of these locations do takeout . You'll find menus right in your cabin. And feel free to reach out if you have special requests... for your fridge before you arrive!
